The season is officially over!!

The combination of wet fields and minimal participation expected, we are going to cancel games tomorrow, thus ending the Fall Baseball Season. We hope to see you next Spring and Fall 2010. Sign up for the spring season will be Nov. 7th, 12th & 14th. Details will be on the website this week.

EYB Rainout Procedures

1) Game Status Page will generally be updated 90 minutes before Game Time.

2) If the Game Status Page is not updated assume the game is going to be played.

3) On occasion the weather will change for the worse after the 90 minutes window or during the game. On these instances, it will be Manager/Umpire decision on whether to play, stop the game for an agreed upon time with plans to continue, or cancel the game.

4) If the Thor-Guard Lightening Detection System sounds, all players must leave the field immediately. Play can resume once the “All Clear” (3 beeps) sounds. Managers/Umpires can decide how long to wait if it is felt the weather may clear up.

5) Elmhurst Park District has final say regarding field conditions. Games will be cancelled despite the weather if the EPD feels they are unplayable.

6) Field Dry Mix will be provided in each field's Lock Box for use by the Managers and Coaches. Please use only on the field of play, not in foul territory or the dugouts. Please alert your commissioner if Dry Mix needs to be replaced.

7) Rainouts will be rescheduled by the commissioner.
