EYB Fall Baseball League 2010

August 28th - October 16th 2010

 

The Elmhurst Youth Baseball Fall Baseball League is designed to give players some additional instruction and games before the weather gets cold. This league is a great way for the dedicated player to continue his/her skill development in preparation for the Spring Season.

This league is a non-competitive format, where players meet on Saturday for 6 weeks. Session will include one hour of practice followed by a game. Wins and Loses will not be recorded and there will be no playoffs. Sunday's will be used for any rained out games.

The Fall League is also a great way for players to get some experience playing in the next division up. This league is set up for players to enroll in the division they will play the following spring, and the age cut off reflects that. For those making the transition from Coaches Pitch to Kid Pitch or those who will experience additional aspects of baseball like lead offs, pick offs, bunting and the drop third strike. This league is designed to better prepare the players for those new rules and give them a head start going into the spring season.
